Since we have moved to the Netherlands, we are the proud owners of these nine happy Texel sheep. They function as lawnmowers and as a wool production facility. Once a year they are shorn, and we end up with nine bags of warm, fluffy wool.
The felt we use for our products is machine-made, but we can use this white wool for stuffing things with (such as our rattles and dolls). Every day, we give them a little treat and we count them (really!) so that we know they have not fallen into the water. Please check their nice faces below!
